Oxford does away with the one-word exam question. I would love to try to pull such a thing off here, but I have a feeling interested would be limited to me. Paris would be interested, but wouldn’t actually do it. And then a Kev would tell us why we’re all assholes for trying.
Telling America's Stories
An organization called StoryCorps encourages people to interview others (their moms, dads, grandparents, friends, family, etc.) and those recordings go into the Library of Congress. I think it’s pretty cool and wanted to point out other ways you can hear people tell their stories.

So in this creative writing class I’m taking we’re doing critiques of each other’s work, and their shit is fucking awful. I’m reading this one story and it’s reminding me of a story I read that Dawn’s 7 year old cousin wrote, and these are fucking college kids.

According to the Wikipedia page the Style Invitational has been going on since 1993. Every week, readers are invited to submit a humorous response to some creative prompt. This week’s asks the audience to write a funny diary or journal entry for someone, famous or not, for any point in history.

Here are writing courses from 10 universities. I didn’t look at all of them, but I saw some powerpoint presentations and a “download this course” section at a couple of them. It seems like a lot of different topics are covered.
