Anyone know if they changed the NJ wine shipping law yet?
Cause I just bought wine on the internet. We talked before about legislation being drafted to drop the ban on shipping wine, but I haven’t heard anything about it since.
In semi-related news, everyone hear about the earthquakes in Abruzzo, Italy? BBC World Service was interviewing people about it shit morning. All this chaos and weepiness and I’m all “boooooooring” and getting ready to change it, and then they said it’s in Abruzzo and I thought “OH NO! ALL THAT MONTEPULCIANO!”
I am a monster.

Bill sets a beeline for the wine
New Jersey wine connoisseurs could soon have cases of their favorite product shipped directly from Napa Valley vineyards to their front doors, under proposed legislation that would lift the state’s direct-shipping ban on wine.
Tonight is National Open-That-Bottle Night
I forgot to post about this. If you’re into wine, you may very well have a bottle you’ve been keeping around for a special occasion. Well, tonight’s the night. It’s national Open That Bottle night. You were supposed to open it at 5pm, but I forgot. So it’s now 9pm, we’re about to put on a Coen Brothers movie, and drink a ’93 Napa Valley Pinot Noir generously given to us by ’Manda and Minty for our wedding. Who says the middle class is dead?
So what are you drinking?
