Grizzly Bear Revisited... Again

Don’t ask me how many times I’ve tried to truly enjoy Grizzly Bear’s albums on a whole. I’m still working on it. So many people I keep as friends like the band’s work. Because of this, I keep Yellow House in my music collection (I keep Veckatimest for “While Your Wait For The Others”).

I was just working on an Eerie Yet Excellent compilation (yes, I can’t get enough of compilations). I was browsing through possibly applicable artists, and stopped at Grizzly Bear.

Anyway, I’m crazy about “I Live With You” right now. I added it to the list. I am one step closer to really appreciating Grizzly Bear (I think).

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest

Another review-as-I-listen! Though, technically, I’ve already listened to this album quite a bit. I had a previous leak that was especially poor quality so I tried not to listen very much. But now I’m legitimately giving it a first listen and devoting (as much of) the attention (as I can manage and) it deserves.

Again, note the topics wink wink wink nudge nudge.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
