The Scrabbled: Making Fun of Each Other since '99

What’s with the episode title? Obviously it’s a play with the Los Angeles Airport abbreviation. But there is a space between the ‘A’ and ‘X’.

‘LA’ for the spanish feminine singular article ‘the’?
‘X’ for roman numeral ‘ten’?
The Ten? Who are the Ten? Am I even right?!

That white screen was a second to long if you ask me. Teasing us already!

And I’m back. Going into this episode, I thought to myself, “Who is the leader?” Sawyer? Jack? Locke? Widmore? Eloise? Alpert? Ben somehow?

Also, I await Juliet’s big reveal as a double agent.

No, ABC, for crying out loud I will not be watching the Unusuals.

Well really there wasn’t much to say for a bulk of the episode…

Boy oh boy, how about that music? Here we go again, my thoughts in order of appearance…

Let this thread be a substitute for the usual weekly Lost episode discussion that would begin this evening. I will start us off with a long-winded new theory I’ve written.

For starters, I was watching Futurama while the Tivo got a head start (I’m at a friend’s place for tonight’s viewing). The episode was “Time Keeps On Slippin’” and it featured a quote about the world being on a skipping record. Their solution to the flashes, which involved the work of Bubblegum Tate, a Globetrotter and physics professor, was to move some constellation and get the time particles sucked into some other side of the universe.

So Locke, get on that.

I really enjoyed the tone of this episode.

Who was expecting Desmond to get hit by that pendulum? Away we go…

Nothing too mind-blowing for most of the episode, just a steady plot advance I’d say. Thoughts and spoilers below…

Wow so much to take in this episode. Some great links being created. Definitely experiencing some first and second season connections. I just wanted to get a thread going but I only have one thing as of right now…

It was the same questions-getting-answered progress as most of the season, except for that last half-hour. Hooo weeee!

So excited for Parts 2 & 3. It will be TV’s greatest moment.
