The Scrabbled: Making Fun of Each Other since '99

Does anyone watch this? I’m not a big watcher of late-night shows, let alone television in general. But I just caught a Youtube video with Kid Cudi, Cage, and St. Vincent and was not just impressed with the song itself.

The Roots play as the show’s band, and the sound quality of the video was incredible too. I don’t know exactly, but Fallon had Danny Boyle and Zach Galifianakis, so it seems the show is pretty hip.

I mentioned before that I’d been wanting to post about this show and how good it is, but today I finally found the video I wanted to link to. Here it is:

Louis C.K. and his friends play poker and discuss homosexuality and use of the word “faggot.”

I love it, in all its permutations. I’m pretty happy that at any point in my afternoon I can find an episode of it somewhere on basic cable. It’s almost that PCU Caine-Hackman theory, but way easier to prove.

Anyway, it’s infinitely quotable. I’d like to dedicate a post to some of my favorites.

Tonight’s the anticipated finale of Lost’s 5th season. Since it’s an exciting night for fans, I figured I’d kick off our speculation on what we all expect to see tonight (since it’s fun to be proved wrong).

Also, since the actual episode post will probably give itself over to interpretation of what we just watched, I’m curious what everyone’s favorite (and least favorite) moments of the season were.

And I’m back. Going into this episode, I thought to myself, “Who is the leader?” Sawyer? Jack? Locke? Widmore? Eloise? Alpert? Ben somehow?

Also, I await Juliet’s big reveal as a double agent.

I thought I would share a nugget of wisdom I learned today. If your television breaks, don’t repair it. Instead, buy a new one. You should read this, even if you’re a hippie.

Nothing too mind-blowing for most of the episode, just a steady plot advance I’d say. Thoughts and spoilers below…

Wow so much to take in this episode. Some great links being created. Definitely experiencing some first and second season connections. I just wanted to get a thread going but I only have one thing as of right now…

It was the same questions-getting-answered progress as most of the season, except for that last half-hour. Hooo weeee!
