My new favorite thing: Evernote

Anyone who has recently looked at the Most Downloaded App charts on their iPhone, Android, or Mac App Store has probably seen this icon. That’s the Evernote Elephant; as in, elephants never forget because they use fancy-pants note-taking software. But it wasn’t until last week that I actually started using the app and, a week later, I’m convinced that anyone even remotely busy, forgetful, or project-oriented will find it useful.

The End of My Social Life
The upcoming release of SimCity for the iPhone isn’t just bad because it’s another game I’d rather play than hang out with other human beings. It’s bad because even when I do muster up the energy and desire to share my life with the rest of humanity, a hasty retreat is no longer a car/train ride home. It’s in my pocket. All the time.
Damnit.
iPhone and iPod Touch Apps
So have any of you guys tried some of the new apps available from the app store?
So far I’ve gotten AIM, MLB: At Bat, Cube Runner, Remote, Weather Bug and Box Office.
