Patriot Act extended.

Lautenberg voted nay, securing my vote for him in the next election. But why the hell didn’t Menendez vote?

Evan Better than Slave Driver Hutch

Speaking of Fran Drescher being burned alive and drowned in a bucket of eggnogg...

I’ve seen some rumblings about her wanting Hillary’s Senate seat. If I was from NY, I would totally vote for her, she’s loud and hard to ignore.

Today in Politics

  • Obama wins all three Chesapeake democratic primaries!
  • McCain wins all three Chesapeake republic primaries!
  • Hillary gets DC Washington superdelegates despite Obama having one every district.
  • A vote on granting immunity to the telecoms who are guilty of eavesdropping on their customers was put to the floor today. McCain voted yes. Obama voted no. Clinton is one of only two who didn’t show up for the vote. That kinda says it all for me.
  • The vote granting immunity to the telecoms passed. The man responsible for leaking the info that the telecoms were eavesdropping is being arraigned. This is cripplingly wrong. This is also completely unverified (the latter portion, anyhow) and something a coworker mentioned to me over his shoulder as he was reading some article. I never go the link. Can anyone confirm?

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
