This article is not to tell you about the best sushi place in Philadelphia. I want you to tell me about the best sushi place in Philadelphia.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It is all right (and almost preferred) if it’s a fancier sort of place.

I’m going to NYC for the weekend, starting tomorrow night.

I have absolutely zero plans, but I would like to get out to a decent restaurant somewhere.

I don’t really care about price, but since I’m coming tomorrow, I do care about places that don’t require reservations.

Anybody here have any ideas? Preferably somewhere around 57th and Park, where I’ll be staying. I should be getting in around 7 PM and we will be a hungry party.

I’m up for anything. I don’t know anything about NYC.

I need to know cause Sammy, Christina, Sammy’s friend Eddie, and I are going there in late June…

Gosia just sent me this Craig Leban article describing some very delicious-sounding “soup dumplings” in Philly’s Chinatown. Apparently, "this Shanghai treat is a sleight of broth and dough that puts the “soup” inside a steam-puffed beggar’s purse twisted up tight and tidy."

I WANT TO EAT THEM.

Opening in soil line needs to be capped – raw sewage is contaminating a large portion of the basement floor. Management instructed to initiate immediate corrective action. 7-01 (L) Mouse infestation is present. A severe and pervasive mouse infestation exists throughout this food establishment. Accumulations of fresh mouse droppings were observed inside the walk-in refrigerator on open pizza dough (this was condemned); under cooking equipment; on prep table shelves; inside fryers; on shelves under front serving counter.
