I may have crossed a line.
Reddit does frequent Secret Santa style gift exchanges. The most recent one was for Halloween where you could elect to receive a trick or a treat. The guy I got matched up with selected a trick, sooooooo I stewed for a while and came up with what I thought was a pretty good trick.
Let’s just say he’s not at all happy about it.
Reddit Trick or Treat.
I’ve done a few gift exchanges and they’ve been great fun. Usually I’d recommend going international, but I dunno how well Halloween resonates overseas… Either way, DO IT.
So the Internet took an interest in my childhood the other day.
As of late I’ve been a huge fan of Reddit, something I know John has mentioned time and again as being one of the best things on the Internet.
The other day I stumbled upon a thread wherein people were listing misunderstandings of their childhood, as in how they thought things worked before being old enough to understand how anything really worked.

Learn some math
In a case of the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, I just found a link titled A Gentle Introduction To Learning Calculus. You see, a few days ago, Sammy and I were talking about Math and how Sammy wished he knew some more advanced math. I said something to the effect of “oh, you should head on reddit and check out the math subreddit. They post stuff like that all the time.” Sammy suggested that maybe I should post these things here because people might be interested. I didn’t believe him, but I guess we’ll see. Cause I’m posting it here.
New PBS show based on reddit
Apparently PBS is airing a new show called YourWeek in cooperation with the social news site reddit.com. So at long last, XKCD comics, Ron Paul, lolcats, and telling Clintons states to go fuck themselves will finally have a place on national television.
