I kept seeing this as a facebook thing that seemed like a good idea but was meaningless slacktivism, but I guess not.
This makes me want to stop criticising MTV for not really being about music.

I’m just watching Cosmos for the first time ever. I can already say it is the greatest thing that has ever been put on television, and I’m less than halfway through the first episode. Am I a bad person because I’ve never gotten into this? Or am I not the only one?

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any ranting by anyone (John) about this, the Supreme Courts decision to eliminate campaign finance laws, effectively freeing corporations, business interests, and labor unions to spend unlimited amounts of money on politicians and political ads.
Half of the non-reality based, idiotic partisan hack radio is gone.

I don’t like to be considered a Democrat, even though I take that side more often. Aside from my fundamental dislike of 2 parties, I think there are plenty of good ideas and correct beliefs on the conservative side.
