Californians had to vote on the presidential election, two state elections and 12 propositions.

HHEHH??

Could be going that way if the trends at Rasmussen and Gallup are in any way accurate. Hell, unless McCain does something drastic or Obama/Biden commits a major gaffe, we could see +10 for Obama by Wednesday.

It’s only fair.

So I was going to make this incredibly witty and funny post about how John McCain is a bad candidate because of his drinking problem and so on and say all these things that are actually true about the XO on Battlestar Galactica, which I just started watching with Sammy the other day. But it seems this reference has already been made and a comparison photo thing was done far better than I would have done it.

Alright, let’s get this out there. Does anyone think this is a real possibility? It sounds like a long shot, but I keep hearing pretty compelling evidence. There was the experience statement where she lumped her and McCain together (which an Air America host, I forget which one, described as something a VP hopeful would say). And there’s the whole pledged delegate math problem that says Clinton simply cannot win enough to gain on Obama in pledged delegates.

Now there’s a new quote from Clinton, again putting her side by side with McCain, that has Huffington post commenters and others also valling it a ploy for VP.

So what do you think? Is this all trumped up nonsense? Or is there a real chance at a McCain-Clinton ticket in ‘08? And, if so, does Obama have a chance in hell at beating them?
