For some reason, Kirby gets mad when he crosses the Pacific.

Fun with Google Adwords
I recently got a $100 gift card for Google Adwords to advertise my freelance business. Adwords works by charging a variable dollar amount per word or phrase, based on popularity. So if I want to buy the phrase “web development,” which is likely quite popular, I’m going to pay a lot of money for each click. If I buy “purple monkey blender,” however, it’s going to be quite cheap.
So I put it to you guys: what key words or phrases should I buy? I am completely open to the idea of buying nothing but joke words and phrases. I might do a few serious ones.
Original content gets attention via social media
Just wanted to show you guys something cool. The other day I wrote an article about some pancetta I cured at home and something interesting happened: site traffic almost doubled for two days and my ad revenues for August are now 5x what they were for all of July.
Replacement to the Bar Code being shown off.

Giving away an album online
I posted the tracks of an old Duophone album and then submitted it all over to several social news sites in wake of the NIN release. Should be interesting to see if anyone actually grabs it.
