Tuesday night when I was leaving work shortly before midnight I noticed was the first truly winterish night (in the city anyways).
I was listening to Joanna Newsom’s “Sawdust and Diamonds” on the way home and it fit the feeling of the night perfectly.

If there’s one thing I love about a new school year, it’s how every incoming freshman puts their address in their profile. They have some delusion that even though no one sent them stuff at their house, that people will be dying to send care packages to their dorm room.
