Sheen, Beck, or Gaddaffi?

Can you tell which whack-job said what?

John is hungry

One of the most amazing, non-sensical videos I've ever seen.

“Dada-esq” doesn’t quite describe it. Song isn’t bad, either.

Beck has remastered One Foot in the Grave and it selling it online the right way.

No DRM. High quality downloads. Good packages. Everything is done right.

Beck - Modern Guilt

So the 8th saw another new album from Beck, this time enlisting the help of white people’s favorite DJ, Danger Mouse (of the Grey Album, Gorillaz, Gnarls Barkley, misc. other projects that start with G). I wasn’t expecting too much after his previous two somewhat middling attempts, but I have to say, after my first full listen, I’m really surprised by how much I like it. It starts off like his last two, sort of “this is good, but I don’t know that I’ll want to listen to it much.” But by the end, it really takes on its own character and I was completely absorbed — enough so that I had to immediately start it over again when it was done.

Definitely worth checking out.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
