John is hungry

Best way to reheat a pizza.

And it’s not my microwave-then-toaster-oven combo.

Hmmm…..I definitely want to try that now. Although that most definitely did not need to be a video since it could have been summed up as “Re-heat it in a dry pan over medium heat for a few minutes.” Yeah, there was that foil cover thing but that was more an enhancement than anything else.

I can imagine a thicker pizza would need the tin foil cover to help melt the cheese on top, but you wouldn’t want to use a full-on lid and steam it.

I remember this years ago on queer eye for the straight guy. i don’t use tin tho, I heat it cheese side down until the pan gets hot then flip it

Also takes forever and wastes a ton more energy.

I know it aint healthy, but its rare that I got any pizza left over, but when I do I usually beer batter it and fry it in heavy oil. Gotta eat it with a fork.

meh. tastes better than microwave or toaster oven and seems like less work than this method.

I live in halifax now, but yeah a fork. Its pretty well makeshift deepfried. Its the same batter I do haddock in, so it sorta falls apart if you try to eat it like a normal slice.

Cold is wrong. Battered and deepfried is awful. You all are crazy.

I can’t get down with cold any more, but room temperature about 3-4 hours after the initial round of pizza eating is done is something I can hang with. And deep fried? Ugh.

I hear you on room temp. Round 2 is often my favorite pizza round.

I used this over the weekend. Great results. Crispier than the original, and the melt tent worked quickly.

I just tried this tonight as well. Not bad, by any means but I also didn’t find it noticeably superior to a pizza stone or even the vented round metal thingy we have. I guess I was naive to expect it to be just as good as the first round, but I sort of did. I would do it again though because it was quicker. Definitely easier.

I eat my pizza with a fork and knife sometimes. My sister ripped me a new one when she saw it and said, “Who do you think you are? You’re from Jersey, fold your pizza and eat it like a normal person.” I just don’t like to burn my tongue. Or get my fingers all gooey.
