I’m a little concerned. Should the richest contract ever given to a relief pitcher go to a hard thrower with decreasing velocity and an increasing fly ball ratio? I’m starting to think Ruben has more balls than brains.
What the hell happened with Madson? Did Boras leak the 4 for 44 mil story to pressure them into signing him? I wouldn’t put it past that scumbag. I was happy to hear that the Nats were ready to swoop in and overpay Madson while giving the Phils 2 extra draft picks. So much for that idea…

Speaking from experience, good luck watching this guy and not wanting to rip your eyeballs out. It takes 5 minutes for him to go through his pre-pitch theatrics before every single ball is thrown. I just want to yell, “Just throw the damn ball already!” Aside from that, the ol’ Beantowners are sad to see him go.
