I may have crossed a line.
Reddit does frequent Secret Santa style gift exchanges. The most recent one was for Halloween where you could elect to receive a trick or a treat. The guy I got matched up with selected a trick, sooooooo I stewed for a while and came up with what I thought was a pretty good trick.
Let’s just say he’s not at all happy about it.

That’s awesome. Clearly his fault for not reading what he submitted. If you hadn’t chimed in, in response to his post would he have known it was you? I don’t know how those things work.
Nope, he wouldn’t have known. And if I hadn’t sent through UPS, I wouldn’t have had to put a return address, either. So technically, I could have sent him a really dickish completely anonymous gift. But he seemed like a decent guy (you can research their Reddit history when you get matched up) so I wasn’t worried about using UPS and having the return addy on there.
