Predictions? I read a stat somewhere that a staggering number of great second basemen throughout baseball history have had their productivity drop off significantly right around Utley’s age. And with what seems to be a bit of a rushed recovery… is anyone else a bit scared?
Even if his run production is lower than normal, it will almost certainly be better than Valdez, Orr and Martinez.
