John is hungry

Photographic Proof Of The Bricks Outside Danzig's House.

In honor of today’s fantastic AV club cover. I’m not sure why, but this completely destroyed me.

I love any Danzig related internet tomfoolery. It’s never not funny. I had a friend who claims to have been behind Glenn Danzig in line at a Target in southern California. He was buying black t-shirts and Snapple.

And old thin and scrawny Danzig w/Misfits videos juxtaposed with later or current Danzig pictures are also always hysterical.

Wisdom

For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes. But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course that’s Moses, not Jesus. I haven’t heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere.

“Blessed are the merciful” in a courtroom? “Blessed are the peacemakers” in the Pentagon? Give me a break!

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
