Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP
I love my iPad but the one thing that the whole iOS platform is really lacking are good, immersive, involving video games. Angry Birds is fun and being able to play Carcassone anywhere is awesome, but none of these deliver the sort of experience even the original Nintendo’s franchise games offer.
But Superbrothers looks different. And it comes out tomorrow.
Based on the reports from people who have played previews, this game is to the iPad what the original Zelda was to Nintendo. So here’s hoping it’s half as great as everyone says it is. I’ll post my thoughts on it tomorrow after playing a bit.

That reminds me though, we’ve never truly sessioned on Super Mario Brothers Wii have we? (Not that that’s very “meaty” or anything, but it is different).
Sam and I played through the whole game, but that was before you were down here. I have Donkey Kong Wii, though, which I hear is even better. I wouldn’t know cause I still haven’t played it despite having owned it for months now.
Bought it as soon as it became available last night (11pm) but still haven’t had a chance to play it. If the game is as good as that first video they released for it $4.99 will be a steal.
Also, Final Fantasy III is available for the iPhone today and to celebrate Square Enix is having a sale in the app store.
