Eminem continues to surprise my by not only being incredible, but writing some ridiculously touching lyrics. AND THEN THE ENDING. OH MY GOD THE LAST SHOT. Honestly, first time a rap video ever made me get weepy.

It’s so hard to like rap. Even the best rap album of the year is lower in the overall album of the year list.

I dunno, that Kanye album really coulda been my #1 in a lesser year. I can think of at least a handful of other albums that I think were the best of the year. But yeah, I guess you’re right, I can’t really think of too many albums that would be contenders for best of the year in their respective years. Maybe Tribe or Dalek’s first or something?
