The rumors have been all over the place: new screens, more ram, faster/dual core processors, front/back facing cameras etc.

I think you can definitely expect cameras and probably some sort of increase for the processor and ram but after that who knows.

I should say I haven’t heard definitively what will be upgraded. Gruber is saying there’s no way it gets a retina screen. It doesn’t have the processing power to push out that many pixels. More ram seems likely, but it seems a minor upgrade.

I didn’t mean that in a “haven’t you seen these?” way just that what people are predicting seems to be a bit all over the map. Ram and cameras seem the most likely. don’t know what they will do with the screens.

Yeah, from what I’ve heard this thing that’s coming next week is more of an iPad 1.5. The iPad 2 is still a little ways off.
