that's one in the win column for the good guys

the arcade fire won for album of the year at the grammys

oh, you say grammys, schmammys?

well, the best part is all the teeny-boppers and no talent ass clowns who were rooting for katy perry or some other bullshit and will cry in their juice boxes because someone won they probably never heard of.

(yeah yeah, we know we all secretly love “firework.”)

i’ll give some props to gaga cause i sorta like her. it’s just great because win + crew were so happy and played the show out.

I’m very happy for them.

Remember when that Letterman performance video floated around back in 2002? That one guy had a motorcycle helmet on (and he was drumming on it).

The Suburbs was kind of disappointing. Just sayin’.

Also, as someone rightly pointed out they were nominated for and lost “Best Alternative Album” but one album of the year? So how is it possible that something is the best album of the year when it’s not even the best album in it’s genre?

Which is why everything about the Grammies is ridiculous and always will be.

That Mumford/Avett Brothers/Dylan performance was pretty good though.
