Okay so the Italian Market is usually closed on Mondays apparently. But perhaps they are open because it’s a holiday and it’ll be good for business.
Okay I just called Paesano’s at 215-922-2220. I got their answer machine. It was broken very broken-up, so I could get all the information. They are closed from January 1st to who-knows-when for vacation. Also, they relocated a block away on S. 9th St.
So all-in-all, I can’t tell you anything about Monday.
I’m pretty certain they’re open every day. I’ve only been to the north philly spot though. And as far as vacation, I have no idea
Well, if we meet up and it’s closed, we’ll just hike over to John’s Roast Pork and eat a different amazing philadelphia sandwich.
We should all just go to the original one at 152 W Girard Ave so I can walk there in 5 minutes (the Italian Market location is Paesano’s II). They have the same menu.

The new Paesano’s location is not picking up the phone. I’m looking for a late lunch. Probably driving to the Northern Liberties location around 2 or 3pm.
Hutch is still sleeping. I’m going in with Sam, and our friend Theresa.

Oh well, since Hutch found it, I didn’t mind holding off to see if I could get in touch with him. That was just so he wouldn’t miss out on his discovery (and idea).

Just got up. Pulled another all-nighter to get ready for these friggin’ all-day client meetings I have tomorrow and wednesday. Totally fell asleep by accident. I’m back on thursday, though, if anyone’ll be around then.

We were there around 1:30 – I got the “Prosciutto Caprese” special & my dude got the “Arista”. They were both messy & really good and the place is quite literally a 4-minute walk from my house. Nice.
