Sweaters! Four of them!
i got ipod speakers, lots of stuff for my new home office and dave bought me a silver locket AND two tickets to cliff lee’s first game back!

And some gift cards to Northern Brewer that I am going to use to upgrade my homebrewing rig, Christmas was quite good this year.
among other fantastic stuff: a black 5 million dollar home Crumpler camera bag, a whole bunch of tools (drill batteries, wrenches, pliers, etc.) a wet/dry Shop Vac & 2 french presses (one regular, one camping/travel mug style).

My new jacket and Dominion (board game) are my favorites, but I got some great other things too. Xmas was great!
My family skipped presents and stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for a few days. We ate at Bar Boulud (where my sisters bf works), The Water Club, and the Porterhouse, went to the circus, got a friend of mine to let us into the back of the penguin exhibit at the Central Park Zoo to pet a penguin, and did a bar crawl for my birthday yesterday during the blizzard. Good times.

Got a Nook, some clothes, ornaments, How to Cook Everything, and some Livestrong stuff.
Not totally sure how I feel about the Nook yet. It works nicely, but I think it’s weird to not hold a book while reading. However it’s certainly more convenient because it fits in my bag much much better!

I think I’d still rather hold a nook or kindle than a book because it’s less cumbersome, but the whole e-ink/no backlight thing is actually a negative to me. I WANT backlighting! I always read in bed and I hate having to use a book light.
