Install Mac OS X on any intel-based PC?

I’d be very intrigued if this can actually work.

So, this is new because previously you needed to have a very specific combination of components to build a Hackintosh right? The concept of a Hackintosh itself is not the news here?

Yeah, I gave Hackintoshing some serious consideration when I was agonizing over the MBA purchase. I guess this would be a good idea for a desktop machine, but until other manufacturers can approach the quality of the Mac laptop trackpads I wouldn’t even consider it for a portable system no matter how easy it is to pull off.

Truth. While the software is the biggest reason I buy Macs over PCs, at least 25-30% of the rest is the incredibly well engineered hardware.
