Yeah this is really good. I love that long stare into the sign.

I’ve never seen the movie it’s taking this from (that Jessie James movie) but this is still pretty great.

You just saw the only good scene. Except, y’know, with cartoon bears.

You’re crazy. That movie was great in every way.

So like, you enjoyed how the movie did absolutely nothing, went absolutely nowhere, and offered absolutely zero insight into any of the characters thoughts motives for almost two hours, and then they did that whole thing that they clearly tried to base the entire movie around? And you liked how Brad Pitt just played the same character he does in every movie? You liked all of that? Are you sure? Did we watch the same movie?

Does this mean that he played Jessie James as a surfer smoking pot out of a honey bear, a redneck serial killer, a young, upstart detective, or a member of a bank heist team?

Sorry, I should say the same character he does in every movie he’s just doing a character. There’s Brad Pitt’s fantastic character roles (12 Monkeys, True Romance, Snatch) and Brad Pitt just being random-charming-guy (Oceans ##, Benjamin Button, Mr & Mrs. Smith). Jesse James falls into the latter.

I really need to watch True Romance again. It’s been way too long since I’ve seen that.

Maybe you are thinking of a different movie. He’s hardly charming as Jesse James. Dark, menacing, and paranoid would be a much better description. He’s really good in it, as is Casey Affleck (for once).
