Wealthy man avoids charges....

..because being charged would impact his wealth. I guess I have to give the DA some sort of sick version of credit for being so goddamned honest and blatant about it.

Brings new meaning to “too big to fail.” There’s no class war in the US. The war’s over and the rich have won.

This is scary and awful, but not new news. The rich have always been able to get out of things; we just hear about it more. A few years ago, a Main Line woman was charged with abusing her maid, hitting her with frozen carrots. I think she got community service. We all know what would have happened had the maid been the one throwing the frozen food. And it’s not just a problem in America, it’s the whole world.

Oh, I know there’s always been 2 sets of rules for the wealthy and everyone else and justice is easily purchased. I’m just floored that the DA came flat out and admitted it in such a blatant way.
