Quicksilver is a must for anyone looking to actually get any work done on their mac. The screencast is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what the app can do.

Tweetdeck is a great twitter app.

I like Adium for instant messenging.

I mostly use google docs for office-type stuff, but Pages is a pretty great word processor that I much prefer to Word. I have been forced, however, to rely on Microsoft Excel for various spreadsheets.

Steam is a must for videogames.

Transmit is great for FTP, but cyberduck is a great free alternative.

uTorrent is great for stealing shit.
