Whoa. I wonder if it’s a full band history and documentary or if it’s just a snapshot of later period Ministry? Some of the clips of him looked on the younger side, but most of the live footage seemed recent. Either way, looks good.

I think it’s supposed to be just about the Psalm 69 tour.

Actually it says 1996 so it was the one after that, which was pretty much when they started completely falling apart at the seems and becoming a parody of themselves. Which means it’s probably a great movie, but just about a shitty tour/album. But what could be more interesting than an already self destructive band right at the moment of implosion.

I actually liked Filth Pig. I mean, it’s not my favorite album of theirs, but about half is pretty good. I remember even when it came out, though, that I was very much alone in my opinion.

Either way, Jourgensen was one of those dudes where for a good 6 or 7 year period I was obsessed with everything that dude did or said not just musically but in the press and everything else since he and everyone around him was such a train wreck.

Wisdom

The contention that a standing army and navy is the best security of peace is about as logical as the claim that the most peaceful citizen is he who goes about heavily armed. The experience of every-day life fully proves that the armed individual is invariably anxious to try his strength. The same is historically true of governments. Really peaceful countries do not waste life and energy in war preparations, with the result that peace is maintained.
