I do not, but I definitely could. Though, watching some of those recent tournament videos gives me a sort of sinking feeling that it would require far too much time to get good enough to come close to competing.

That’s funny cause after watching those videos I feel like I’m on the cusp of next level street fighting. I just need to be more consistent and work on my “fadc” reprogram myself not to jump so damn much (which I’m totally better at)

“fadc”?

The announcer dudes keep talking about “reading” other players and whatnot and it all just seems very grandmaster-chess-esq; that is, just beyond my level of comprehension.

It’s stands for “focus attack dash cancel” I periodically forget about focus attacks so that hurts me, but fadc+u is a technique used to ruin some days!!

Is this one of those cases where I’d have to buy an expensive arcade-style controller to truly enjoy the game? I know the Xbox directional pad can be wonky… so I’ve put this game out of my mind assuming it wouldn’t be fun without piling more money on the original $30 investment.

Well I’ve had plenty of fun with the dpad but I just bought the arcade stick online for 75 bucks.

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
