In case you haven’t heard, there’ve been 13 attempted suicides at a chinese factory that makes Apple, Nokia, Toshiba, and other products.

13 attempted total, some of which were successful (I just don’t know how many so I stuck with the number I knew).
Yeah, apparently Nintendo makes their Wii stuff there, Sony makes PS2 and PS3 stuff there, and Dell makes stuff there. So it’s definitely not just Apple, despite the fact that all the headlines seem to focus on the iPads. Regardless, Jobs shed a bit of light on it and I found it interesting. Namely, that 13 in half a year for a population of 400,000 (it’s a biiiiiiiig factory/living space) is lower than the American average.
