we don't like you but lead us anyway
Right now the British election is making the Bush/Gore farce look like peanuts.
If it goes as predicted my leader will be a man not voted in by his party and not voted in by his country.
I am looking forward to a night with the BBC

Also, totally unrelated, but I’ve been meaning to tell you:
- Laura Marling has a new album. It’s pretty good.
- Laura Marling is playing at Johnny Brenda’s sometime soon (like in a week or so?)
- I watched some video of Laura Marling online. It made me not want to see her live. You’d think she’s blind or is autistic or something. So boring.
Basically it looks like we have a hung parliament. this means that the Conservatives will have the most seats in parliament.
BUT, Labour will probably arrange a coalition with the Liberal Democrat Party which may mean that Gordon Brown could be Prime Minister even though he was never voted as Labour Leader, he took it, by default, when Tony Blair stood down.
He may also be the leader of the party that wins less seats then the Conservatives.
Does that even make sense??
