Scrabbled Comps #9: Car Talk
I listen to a lot of Car Talk and I’m always impressed by the wide array of filler songs they manage to find solely about cars and driving. So let’s see how well we can do. Suggest and upload your favorite songs about cars, driving, and the open road.

My pick: Jerry Was a Race Car Driver by Primus (though I was super close to putting up Fett’s Vette by MC Chris — figured I’d better go as literal as possible if I’m starting it off).

It was hard to not pick a Beach Boys song here.
Something to make your lives easier:
If you want to upload, you no longer have to go through FTP. Simply go to the files.johnhutch.com link above and hit “Admin” link in the bottom right. The password is the same as our FTP. You can upload files through the OpenTape code — just make sure they’re MP3s! If the files happen to be really long and they’re over 7meg, you’re shit out of luck and will still have to use FTP. But hopefully this helps people out a bit.
My official choice would be Geggy Tah’s “Whoever You Are,” but I don’t have the file to back it up. I’ll look into a replacement idea for the sake of participation.
I went with Jim Croce’s “Rapid Roy (The Stock Car Boy)”. That’ll be a flow-breaker.

My pick is “Stolen Car” by Beth Orton.
When I uploaded it, it placed it first automatically. Not sure how to re-order, but…it’s there.
