….naw, I’m just kidding. Religion is ridiculous and nationalizing non-secularism is in clear violation of the first amendment. Go US court system!
Yes, as a hardcore atheist I totally agree with this, and as someone who likes anything that pisses off particularly the religious right I even more agree with this.
That being said…..this strikes me as one of those things where I say….Uh….o.k. yeah, but on the long, long, horrible list of egregious violations, this is one of the least offensive examples of church and state breaching that goes on every day, and it seems like this is also one of those things that just serves as red meat to get the loons all fired up and motivated. Much like the “One nation under god” thing.
