Charred Walls of the Damned
I’m not really into metal, but I listen to Howard Stern and they’ve been talking about this band a lot what with their association with Richard Christy. Any opinions from you legitimate metal heads?

Those vocals sound sort of like Maiden, but terrible. I couldn’t get through a whole song.
The vocals are Tim Owens the former Priest cover band singer who replaced Halford. It just sounds very pedestrian and by the numbers. Like each player is doing their own thing and then they put it together in the hopes that it sounded cohesive. It doesn’t, really.
All I know is that the backwards hick that does phony phone calls and gay stunts on the Stern show absolutely shreds the drums. He’s apparently highly respected in metal which is funny because he does nothing but destroy his dignity at his day job.
