Uh, maybe this is what you meant by the “smaller half” but Air America was the only left leaning talk radio station pretty much anywhere and it wasn’t even a fraction of what the right has/had across however many different stations and synidication. But nonetheless yeah that station was terrible. I really gave it a try but jesus was it just absolutely atrocious.
