This was hilarious until I found out, exactly like I expected to, that the car was really just loaned to the show. These late night wars are so awesome, it’s great to see these guys take the gloves off and do some “real” and “edgy” comedy. It’s a shame it will all go away once this dies down.

The loan wasn’t free and neither was the song. Apparently the NBC guy made them remove the clip from Hulu to save the royalty fees.

Come on, did you really think Conan would spend that much money on a bit? Especially right after talking about what’s going on in Haiti? That was probably free to them, as they got the loan for the day to promote that ugly ass car.

But just the thought was funny as hell (especially knowing most people would believe he actually spent that much). I really am gonna miss his show. He better not have to wait until September to do another show somewhere else.

EDIT: I believe replaying the song on the internet does in fact cost money, which is why they removed it. But on network tv it was not expensive at all. How do you know the loan of the car was not free or at least inexpensive?

By the way, while it won’t be Conan vs Jay in the next few months, I will definitely be watching Letterman vs. Jay. Jay had a pretty nice comeback at Letterman last night, and while both of the guys get highly annoying at times, it is fun to hear them bash eachother.

What you see is not what is there. It is simply a thought about what is there created by the mind for its enjoyment; an illusion in thought.
