So awesome!

I was just daydreaming while walking the halls during my prep period. I had a discussion this morning about a book called “Generation Me”. It’s about the new generation of children and what terrible people they are.

I got to thinking about natural selection and wondered if invention/science would keep these dummies alive, or if they would be the first step toward humans dying out.

Apparently this generation (due to health issues) will not outlive their parents. That and they’ll have to work extra hard in a diminishing job market.

That book sounds like some serious big cane-shaking, prune-juice-drinking, foot of snow without shoes school walking, greatest generation bullshit.

Every privileged generation are a bunch of shitheads in their adolescence. They’ll figure it out.

Yes, it does sound like that. But it was written by Jean Twenge, who considers herself a part of “Generation Me”.

It’s true. Just like every generation acts as though they are the first to be rebellious. But the numbers really do show that this generation is worse off than the more recent generations.
