bad astronomy
is coming to the edelman planetarium at rowan
from my newspaper:
The new show at the Edelman Planetarium, Bad Astronomy: Myths and Misconceptions, tackles questions like whether the Apollo visits to the moon were a hoax, or if aliens ever landed on Earth.
Bad Astronomy will appeal to both expert astronomers and casual sky gazers of all ages as it examines bad science wherever it can be found.
it opens saturday, jan. 16 and runs every saturday at 7 p.m. through march 6. then, pink floyd the wall will be at 8:15. i only went to laser radiohead while in college and it ruled.
Admission fees for either show are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors older than 60, $3 for children 12 and younger and $3 for Rowan students with ID. Each show requires a separate ticket. More information about the two shows and about the planetarium is available at the planetarium Web site at www.rowan.edu/planetarium.
