The Best Batman
Bored now.
I agree with the number one here, hands down. Kevin Conroy nails it every single time, to the point where it’s almost impossible to NOT hear his voice when I see Batman.
Michael Keaton comes in a close second. There’s an odd stiffness he carries through his entire performance that wins me over, with a wildness in his eyes that underlines how batshit crazy Bruce Wayne would have to actually be.

And yeah, while I do like Bale quite a bit (and Batman voice doesn’t annoy me nearly as much as it seems to annoy others), Keaton is pretty goddam perfect. I’d have loved to have seen him the current batsuit where he could move his neck.
I think the lack of neck moving helps Keaton’s Batman… that whole herky-jerky movement style really nails the presence he bring as Batman.
I don’t like Bale so much, possibly because I think his performance is becoming the only thing he can really do in ANY movie: rasp and scowl and yell at things in a gravelly pitch. Thankfully, all the other stuff in the Nolan movies are great enough to elevate this weakness.
Although Law & Order Batman is a close third.

i never watched the cartoons, so Michael Keaton is my man. my eyebrows have had a crush on his eyebrows for years.
I’m glad we’re not even mentioning the others. My vote is for Bale thanks to Batman Begins even more than Dark Knight.
He pulls off the double personality best. He nails the fake-yet-cocky bachelor and the strong superhero.
I get the fake-yet-cocky bachelor, but that was never my favorite Bruce Wayne. I prefer the older, wiser, philanthropist Bruce Wayne of the cartoons and Shadow of the Bat comic series.
