Does anyone watch that show Better Off Ted? I don’t make a point to watch it but have caught a few episodes that were pretty funny, especially considering it’s subject matter is the absurdity of corporate America which is well mined territory.

Anyway, one of their plot points was that the corporation installed these motion sensors that turned on lights and opened doors when people walked by. But it couldn’t detect black people. So all the black employees had to sit in darkness and couldn’t get in or out of rooms. But instead of admitting the problem and opening themselves up to discrimination lawsuits they hired white people whose only job it was to follow around the black people in the company.

I see someone in the comments section alluded to this as well.

Holy shit, that sounds hilarious. I don’t think I’ve even heard of this show.

I even forget when it’s on. But it really is a pretty damn funny show that doesn’t get too much attention.
