I always wonder where these people work that they can afford to not only take off of work all the time, but also to travel so much.
I also wonder how long it will be until they protest at some small town without media coverage, and the locals finally declare shenanigans and give them the beating they deserve.
our paper doesn’t give fred phelps ANY coverage at all. it’s not even that newsy anymore since i’ve seen this asshole three times out and about even before i got into journalism.
my niece goes to cherry hill east. i’ll have to ask her if she or any of her friends were out there. she’s popular and wears uggs, so probably not.

hehe i was gonna say it was poorly written too but i’m glad you said it, cos then it must be really true! the lede (the first few paragraphs) is awful and they have some license to write it this way because they have been covering it for a couple of weeks now. so it’s a follow-up, so a lot of info is assumed to the local, general public.
still – not a good way to write an article. that’s why they suck.
I need to find a guy to make out with me across the street from them.

you know fred phelps right? the god hates fags guy? well, he and his idiotic group were protesting in that area near the high school – that part of cherry hill is home to many, many jewish people.
so these students decided to protest right back – not liking that the group was so close to their school.

this writer used to cover law and government for a fox affiliate – which means she prob didn’t write too much.

The article made it sound like Phelps was protesting the school itself, not one of its neighbors. I was pretty much able to figure out what was going on anyway, but I thought the article could have been a bit more clear.
They should go back to Kansas so a witch can drop a house on them.
