Unlike most people I talk to, I really enjoyed his last two flicks. But this one… I think he’s gone too far. I mean, there doesn’t seem a reason for a lot of what he’s doing here.
It’s a Roald Dahl story so I’ll go see it.
the fact it’s roald dahl makes it seem to need animation of some sort. but i just don’t know how unnecessary bouts of slow motion will mix with it.
I saw this trailer when I went to see Where the Wild Things Are, and my initial feeling was “Oh no, not another non-sensical Wes Anderson movie.”
After the trailer, I decided that I want to see it.
