Hmmm…that computer screen doesn’t look any more appealing than the computer screen that the Kindle has. I just don’t think I’d like staring at either of those computer screens in order to read a book.

I personally don’t like the idea of reading something for a long time on a screen. But then again I think a lot of people stare at computer screens all the time (interneting or working) and are very used to it. I might actually consider using a device like that if it were ever interactive to the point that you could like double click on a word to get the definition or something.

I thought the whole “caps version of the exact same shit I said before” would have tipped you off that I was just riffing. Though it seems Sara missed that whole last thread. Or two. Sara the screens on these e-readers aren’t your usual screens. They don’t project light. The rearrange the molecules on the face and then set them. The end result is light bouncing off contrasting materials, nearly identical to reading a piece of paper.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
