Well, if it deflates slowly and comes down sort of softly he might make it…of course he might have already fallen out. It’s been up to 7000 feet!

I can’t wait for the brilliant free range child rearing advocates to assure us that really if we look at the statistics that there are actually FEWER instances of young children flying away in home made weather balloons constructed by their storm chasing parents than there were 20 years ago. I mean if anything we should be encouraging our kids kids to fly away in such makeshift devices so they truly understand the joy in such freedoms.
They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let ’em crash.
