The entire topic is retarded. The right time to get married? Based on age? Really? Who are these insane people who thinks there’s an ideal age to get married and are they the reason why the divorce rate is so high? Who spends this much time gauging their progress in life based on their peers? Did she actually just compare how many cutting boards she owns with her sister-in-law?
I hate everyone.
I’m a lifelong East coast person and everyone I know either got married “young” (according to this article by 26) or may as well have since they were dating the person they married since their early 20’s if not before.
I’m the only person I know who didn’t get married until they were 30 and also didn’t start dating the person they married until their late 20’s.
i have one friend, ONE, in my group of friends who is engaged. i’m not counting theresa because her “group of friends” now is brians – and all his friends are getting married.
i guess most of it depends on who you surround yourself with. apparently i surround myself with non-college graduating, non-committal dickheads.

fair enough!
