I’ve always liked this movie for its, uh, shaggy dog charm. I’ve also got a thing for utopia stories. And it’s true that Fallout takes a lot more from this movie than, say, the Road Warrior series.
Jason Robards is always great. But even better with pancake makeup.
Can’t really shake the vibe that there’s a wicked misogynistic streak running through the movie, though.
Totally worth a watch, however.
