ooOOOOoooo, penguin mario & sky stingrays! the game for DS was amazing, i can only imagine how good this one will be.
Looks neat, but I’m generally still irritated that it doesn’t have online multiplayer and will probably skip it because of that.
Break down and buy an Xbox, John! This week we got Shadow Complex and in the first few minutes it’s already put to shame anything offered on the anemic WiiWare service.
The multiplayer is a bonus for me. I really don’t care about it that much. I’m just pumped to have another 2D mario platformer. They really are, in my opinion, some of the most clever and inventive games ever created. There’s no way I’m not going to enjoy this one.
I don’t want to play this with anyone else. I just want to sit there and play it.
I don’t think I’ve bought a Wii game since Metroid Prime but I might pick this one up.

I don’t think there’s a specific date. Just “Q4 2009”
I am, however, excited for that new Metroidy thing they’re coming out with. Dunno when that drops, but I’ll certainly buy it.
i don’t have any real vested interest in playing online with other people – one of the reasons why i have yet to get a 360. i am immensely enjoying just running around by myself in Fallout 3, which is the only game i’ve purchased in the past year (aside from Wiit Fit related stuff). i am not an avid gamer.
pretty much every Mario game i have ever played has been awesome.
Oh, I actually hate playing online with strangers… but I like playing online with friends. Most of the friends that regularly visit my apartment in the flesh don’t have much interest in videogames, so they’re something I often play on my own.
Fallout 3 is tremendous. It’s the only thing I own for the system and it’s managed to entertain me all summer long.
I think four of us should split the cost of the game. Beat it in one weekend. Then return the game for money and split that. I guarantee, despite the fun game play, that this graphically-charged NES side-scroller will be $60.

I like the DS version a lot so this will probably make it into our house where I will play it twice.
