New leaked Radiohead song, "These Are My Twisted Words"

Interestingly enough, no one knows anything about it. It was uploaded by a new user to what.cd that some suspect is possibly Thom Yorke.

Those of you who like Radiohead-the-guitar-band over Radiohead-the-weird-noises-band will likely dig this one much more than the track put out last week.

Between this and Thom Yorke saying there won’t be an album coming out anytime soon… a new album will probably be out tomorrow.

YOU’RE another boring track. I really enjoyed it. Sorta was like the Smiths or something covering Portishead.

yeah i enjoyed it, too.

also, since i moved back home, i’ve been scouring my bedroom’s closet and finding all sorts of gems. there is a cd my ex boyfriend made that he called “acquired disc” and it’s a bunch of live tracks, alternate songs and b-sides of radiohead’s. i hadn’t listened to it in probably 8 years. it’s from 1998 and features “big ideas” which later turned into “nude” and “airbag,” originally called “an airbag saved my life.” plus, tons of other tunes.

anyway, it’s cool and i will upload it and put it on the ftp cos it’s fun to listen to.

I like it, and definitely hear the Portishead thing. However, overall it felt more like a demo or a sketch of a song than a fully fleshed out piece.

I hope you asked your bedroom for permission first.

I don’t think this is a radiohead song.

Get over it Hutch.

Radiohead doesn’t always put out great stuff, this song and that last one are clear examples of that. If this is what they got right now, I am happy to hear Thom Yorke say a new album is way off.

No, that song was called Harry Patch. This song has a different name. You are bad at reading.

Matt, you’re nuts. The Harry Patch song was just “nice” but this is a good track.

So apparently they fessed up to having leaked this themselves:

http://torrentfreak.com/radiohead-leak-their-new-track-to-bittorrent-090817/

It’s apparently the first of a number of tracks they’ve been recording that they have “a plan” for that they’re not divulging. In either case, it seems they’re more up on torrent technologies than most scrabblers. very cool.

I can’t believe I am not at all excited about new radiohead songs.
